Planning your
wedding flowers.

A practical sequence drawn from the studio's working diary — the order a wedding actually gets built, from the first enquiry to the morning of the ceremony. The same shape, every time.

The shape of the work

A Phuket wedding is built in seven steps — none of them rushed, none of them invented on the morning.

The sequence below is the same for a small beach ceremony and for a full villa wedding. Only the scale and the install change. Reading it in order is the easiest way to see where you are in the planning, and what comes next.

Seven steps · in order

The sequence

Step · 01

First enquiry

Share the date, venue and a short paragraph on the look. Even one or two reference images help. The studio confirms availability and replies with a first written quote across the bouquet, ceremony and reception elements.

9–12 months out

Step · 02

Palette & shape

A conversation about palette and overall shape — soft and ivory, tropical and saturated, architectural and structural. The brief settles here, ahead of any flower selection.

6–9 months out

Step · 03

Design proposal

A written design proposal across every element of the day — variety direction, scale, install sketches and a confirmed quote. Adjustments happen at this stage, while everything is still on paper.

4–6 months out

Step · 04

Venue walk-through

Where possible, the studio walks the venue with the planner — confirming sight lines, sun direction, install access and wet-weather alternatives. For overseas couples, this is handled with the planner and photo references.

2–4 months out

Step · 05

Final brief

Numbers settle — final guest count, table layout, timings and personal flower list. The flower order is placed against the agreed brief; variety substitutions are confirmed in writing if seasonal availability requires.

2–4 weeks out

Step · 06

Morning of the wedding

Conditioning begins the day before; personal flowers are hand-delivered to the bridal suite; ceremony installs go up to a timing agreed with the planner. The studio team stays on-site through the ceremony to dress and adjust.

Wedding day

Step · 07

After the ceremony

Where the design allows, ceremony pieces are moved into the reception room — arch flowers to the top table or bar, aisle accents into the room. The studio breaks down after the reception.

Working with a planner

If you already have a planner

The studio works alongside Phuket's wedding planners every weekend. If you have a planner in place, simply introduce them at the enquiry stage — design notes, install timings and venue access are coordinated directly with their team.

Planning from overseas

If you are planning from abroad

Most couples plan from overseas and never visit the venue before the wedding week. The design proposal includes install sketches and reference photographs from past weddings, so the brief is understood before you land.
